R&M team called on several ministers of the Government of Bihar, including Sunil Kumar Pintu, Minister for Tourism, Brishen Patel, Minister for Information & Public Relation, Nitish Mishra, Minister for Rural Development and Narendra Singh, Minister for Agriculture while they were in Patna, during 11th to 15th of October. Also the team had meetings with academicians including Dr. Shambhunath Singh, Vice Chancellor, Patna University and former union minister Dr. Sanjay Paswan, currently head of the Department of Rural Development of Patna University.
Notably, the cabinet colleagues of the Nitish Kumar government lauded the efforts of the Team R&M for its flagship venture ‘Rural & Marketing’ a monthly dedicated exclusively to the vibrant rural India also called ‘Emerging India’. Taking note of the efforts, Nitish Mishra, minister, rural development said “we needed such a monthly which seeks to fill the gaps and for the issues which go unnoticed by the mainstream media of our country. This magazine will generate and preserve the knowledge base on everything that is rural and emerging, thus contributing to the all-round development of the country.” The team also interacted with the students of Rural Management of Patna University during a brain storming session with the future managers.
