Rural women empowerment and encouragement has always been an important for rural development as well as nation to develop.Several government and non government organisation has been trying to encourage women and involve them in self profitable works and help them to sustain on their own.Therefore the rural women development plan comprise training actions and access to basic social services, with stress to education, health, housing, water, energy and basic sanitation.
The plan also aims at promoting forms of partnership and cooperation in the framework of participative democracy that provide gender equality, protection of moral and civic values and fight for eradication of domestic violence.
During the session, the Commission also recommended creation of monitoring and control system which, systematically, allow the implementation level of the objectives laid down and ensure a permanent adaptation of rural women policies to the country’s dynamic reality.
The participants also analysed proposals on creation of academy of social and technology sciences (ACITE), public nature and the Tocoista church-owned Higher Polytechnic Institute in Luanda. Acquisition and distribution of school materials, mobilisation and training for trainers and teachers, were also part of the agenda.
