In order to create awareness and interest in the Rural Marketing domain among students and academia, Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) has announced the 13th edition of RMAI Flame Student Awards 2019. The awards this year will be held in Hyderabad on September 27, 2019 and will see over 200 delegates from the corporate world as well as rural marketing professionals, B-school students, teachers and marketing specialists.
Last Year, the award received over 200 case studies from 60+ B-schools such as Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Shillong and Trichy; Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA); Institute of Rural Management (IRM) Jaipur; Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS), Ranchi; Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Bhubaneswar; Xavier Institute of Management, Jabalpur (XIMJ); Welingkar Institute, Mumbai; Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (Vamnicom), Pune; Tripura Univeristy; TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal; Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB), Pune; Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune; Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS), Pune; National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad; National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM), Hyderabad; MDI, Gurgaon; National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad; KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), Bhubaneswar; Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indian School of Mines, IMT, Ghaziabad; IIT Kharagpur, Banaras Hindu University, BITS-Pilani and many other institutions.
The competition this year will be judged by an expert jury panel comprising of Puneet Vidyarthi , Director – Sales & Marketing, CNH Industrial; Prof. Atul Mandale, Director, Maadhyam Rural Initiatives; Anirban Chaudhuri, Faculty – Marketing, Great Lakes Institute of Management; Sanjay Kaul, Founder & CEO, Impact Communications; Neha Parashar, Head – Category Development, Pidilite; Farid Ahmed, Head – Marketing – OHT, Apollo Tyres; Deepak Mitra, Head – Rural Business, Crompton Greaves and Prabhakar Tiwari, CMO, Angel Broking.
The 10 shortlisted entrants will present their case studies at the award ceremony. Concurrent to the awards, RMAI will also organise knowledge sessions with experts from rural marketing.

We at RMAI, have always believed that rural is the next big destination for marketers and the response that we have received this year to Flame Student Awards not just from students but also from academicians, marketers and industry specialists is truly overwhelming.”
