A lot has changed in the rural markets during the past decade – from consumer behaviour and buying patterns to how the marketing efforts have steered in the direction of rural by the leading brands. To put the spotlight on the changes and how the agriculture and allied sectors have evolved over the decade, Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) is going to organise a panel discussion focused on ‘Evolution of Indian Agriculture & Allied Sectors’ on Saturday, May 14, 2022, 4 PM onwards.

The panel will discuss on how the Indian agriculture and allied sectors transformed in the past decade by diving into different policies and reforms; and how the transformation took place at an unexpected pace along with witnessing disruptive breakthroughs by public and private organisations.

The discussion will be moderated by Puneet Vidyarthi, Head – Marketing & Business Development (Construction Equipment Business), India & SAR, CNH Industrial. Vidyarthi possess more than 29 years of experience in fields of marketing, sales, rural, digital innovations, dealer development, procurement, logistics, parts, R&D and power house operation and has worked with organisations like JCB India, Honda Siel Cars India, Grindwell Norton, NBC Bearings and Indian Rayon.

The panel discussion is going to have speakers like Dr. Anup Kalra, Director, Ayurvet and Vice President, Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) and Dr. Nandeesha KL, Senior Digital Agronomist, Xarvio Digital Farming Solutions, BASF India who will be adding their multi-years insightful experience and learnings in the field. The session is supported by Seedworks International.

The series, Decade of Change, is having discussions and deliberations on the changes that the country has witnessed in the past one decade. The sessions are on changes in various verticals like fintech, media, distribution, agriculture among other sectors engaged in rural markets. It is bringing in together experts of different industries at one place for the exchange of knowledge and practices.
