RMAI re-elects Sanjay Kaul as President

 At  the 12th Annual General Meeting of Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), new leadership team was announced and Sanjay Kaul re-elected as President 

RMAI re-elects Sanjay Kaul as President

At the 12th Annual General Meeting of Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) held in Mumbai recently, Sanjay Kaul Founder & CEO, Impact Communications, was re-elected as President for the year 2017-18 unanimously.  

Speaking on the occasion, Kaul said, “The rural marketing landscape is transforming in many ways marketers might not have thought of just a few years ago. RMAI will strive to address these rapid changes happening in marketing by promoting fresh thinking among its members and industry thought leaders and facilitate relevant knowledge sharing.”

While thanking the members for their trust and support he added, “The leadership at RMAI has an exceptional knowledge and expertise and the team is geared to take forward the momentum that has been built over past few years. I look forward to work with each of them to accomplish our goals through various industry initiatives that make the rural marketing process more efficient and effective.”

Along with the election of Sanjay Kaul; Biswabaran Chakrabarti, Vice President – Brand & Channel Management – Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals elected as Vice President; Himanshu Shah, Chief Mentor, SOI Live Marketing & Event as General Secretary; Sandip Bansal, Chief Client & Field Officer, Group M as Joint Secretary and Anup Kalra, Executive Director, Ayurvet Ltd elected as Treasurer.

The National Executive Team includes Danish Siddiquui – Head Rural Marketing, Hero Motocorp; Rikki Kalra – Deputy General Manager – Rural Marketing, Maruti; Amit Rangra – VP & EBD JWT; Mridula Shekhar – Regional Sales Manager – West Tata Tubes; Siddharth Chaturvedi, CEO, Event Crafter; Kalpana Raina – National Planning Head, Impact Communications; Veerendra Jamdade – CEO Vritti Solutions; Siddhartha Choudhary – CEO, Desta Global and Kiran Zende – Partner Yadyna.

RMAI has also constituted a National Advisory Committee headed by Raj Kumar Jha, National Creative Head, Ogilvy to further strengthen the relevance of its initiatives in sync with various industry needs.

The RMAI National Advisory Committee will have ten members, some of the members include Sanjay Panigrahi, President, Rurban & Special Projects, Pidilite Industries; Puneet Vidyarthi – AVP, Marketing & Digital innovations, JCB India; Pradeep Lokhande – Founder and CEO, Rural Relations and Punit Chadha – General Manager & Divisional Head (Commercial and Rural Sales), Maruti Suzuki India.
