At the 7th EIMA Agrimach Expo 2022 in Bengaluru, New Holland Agriculture, a division of CNH Industrial, Thursday introduced the Blue Series SIMBA and its entry into the sub-30HP small tractor category in India. The tractor, which was unveiled as a member of the company’s Blue Series line, is made for specialised tasks including spraying, rotavation, and inter-row cultivation in cotton, sugarcane, and cotton fields. Customers received the first batch of 21 tractors at the launch.

Highlighting the launch, Raunak Varma, Managing Director and Country Head, CNH Industrial – India & SAARC, said, “We are pleased to join the sub-30HP tractor market. We want to provide our customers with a complete range of farm equipment and mechanisation options. With the Blue Series SIMBA, we can now provide a variety of compact tractors for specialised applications to our customers.”

“EIMA Agrimach Expo is a fantastic platform for us to network with our current and potential clients and present our assortment of products. We are pleased to introduce the Blue Series SIMBA 30 at the Expo as our newest offering,” continued Varma.

The Blue Series SIMBA 30 is a segment-focused vehicle that is powered by a three-cylinder 29 HP Mitsubishi engine. It also has the special advantage of combining high power with narrow track, which makes it the most adaptable tractor in its class. With its nine forward and three backward gears, side shift transmission modes, oil-immersed brakes, 750 kg hydraulic lift capacity, and Automatic Depth and Draft Control (ADDC), the adaptable small tractor makes it simple to utilise any kind of equipment, the company claimed at the launch.

With a semi-flat platform, a floor mat, a heat shield, and an operator seat height that is optimised, the tractor provides best-in-class ergonomics. Additionally, it has a differential lock and neutral safety switch, which make it easier to control the tractor securely and on any surface. The Blue Series SIMBA 30 has a front axle with four-wheel drive and an adjustable rim tyre option to narrow the machine’s total width. The tractor has a dry-type air cleaner with a Clogging Sensor that alerts the operator when the air filter is clogged for simple maintenance requirements, New Holland Agriculture said.

New Holland Agriculture’s dealerships presently sell the brand-new Blue Series SIMBA 30 in Maharashtra and Karnataka, and other markets will shortly follow.

From September 1 to 3, New Holland Agriculture will also be exhibiting its cutting-edge agricultural machinery at the Agrimach Expo, including tractors and mechanisation solutions. The Excel 4710, 3600-2 All-rounder, and Excel Ultima 5510 tractors, the TC5.30 Combine Harvester, the RKG 129 Rake, and the BC 5060 Square Baler are additional items under the New Holland brand in addition to the Blue Series SIMBA 30.
