Mahendra Singh Dhoni, former captain of the Indian cricket team, launched the first digital video produced by Garuda Aerospace, titled #KhetonKeKaptan. The purpose of the movie is to inspire young people and farmers to lead their respective farms.

The film #KhetonKeKaptan, conceptualised by Garuda Aerospace’s brand team and co-produced with Dhoni Entertainment, demonstrates the needs of farmers in their daily lives and the ways in which Garuda drones can assist them with pesticide spraying, crop mapping, surveillance, and other tasks while saving them time and water. In addition to get drone training, farmers and rural youth will also get drone loans and subsidies.

Highlighting the need for launching the brand film, Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace said, “Farmers are the unsung heroes of our country, which is why Garuda Aerospace is dedicated to inventing drones that make farming easier and spray pesticides more efficiently. The brand ambassador for Garuda Aerospace, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, salutes farmers, saying that they are the industry’s future. Garuda Kisan Drones can help farmers improve their standard of living and farming, as shown in the brand film #KhetonKeKaptan. Every farmer should act as the captain of their own farm, MS Dhoni exhorts in the film.”

“Garuda Aerospace has been addressing the demands of the farmers and introducing them a range of technological options. Both Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Facebook page and Garuda Aerospace’s social media accounts are online with the brand film. Garuda Aerospace acquired the dual DGCA certifications recently for both the remote pilot training organisation (RPTO) and the drone manufacturing type certificate. Garuda Aerospace recently unveiled a virtual learning platform and began its Drone Yatra, which intends to use drone technology to raise awareness among farmers in 775 districts across India,” the drone-tech company said.
