
Maxx Mobile has launched a new feature phone MX200 with the aim to target the semi-urban and the rural areas of the country. It is priced at Rs 1,848. Features like 5200mAh battery, torch and rugged body for all terrain weather conditions are some of the USPs of the phone.Ajjay Agarwal, Maxx Mobile’s Chairman and Managing Director, explained, "Our consumers in the semi-urban segment and in rural areas need phones with good battery life and rugged to sustain rough conditions."
The company claims that its MX100’s success, another phone with 4400mAH battery launched last year, encouraged them to enhance the battery capacity to 5200 mAH for Max100 and have also launched MX200 with similar specifications.
The phone’s long talktime is best suited for areas marred by increased power cuts. The device can be used as a powerbank to charge other mobiles as well.
