Know the winners of RMAI Flame Awards Asia 2020

Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI), an association of rural marketing brands, agencies and professionals, announced the winners for the 11th edition of RMAI’s Flame Awards Asia 2020 at a ceremony held virtually.

Innovative Activity during Pandemic’ has been a new attraction this year. Impact Communication, McCann Worldgroup and Force Motors got the Gold award and TVS Credit Services and Insight Outreach were honoured with the Silver and Bronze awards.

Campaign of the Decade was another new category this year and it was won by Jana Small Finance Bank for their Jana Diwas campaign.

Impact Communications bagged the maximum metals including 13 Golds and 5 Silvers for diverse campaigns including HDFC Bank’s Unnati ka Uphaar Maati Parikshan, Abbott Swaraksha Campaign, Perfetti Retail Seeding, P&G’s Har Din Behtar, Apollo Farm Zone, Abbott India’s Matra Swasthya Diwas.

The Brand Brewery won 5 Golds and 6 Silver metals for their campaigns Maulichi Savli and Shakti Ka Samman in different categories.

Vritti Solutions and Mindwave Media together bagged 3 Gold and 3 Silvers. The Golds includes campaigns for leading brands like Dabur, Emami and India Post.

Institution that has contributed in creating ‘Future Leaders for Rural’ was a special category this year to encourage future leadership in the rural domain. Prin. L.N. Welingkar Institute of Management– Mumbai; Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) and Great Lakes Institute, Gurgaon bagged the Gold awards in this category.

Other Gold Winners in this evening were Airtel Payments Bank, Insight Outreach, Usha International, Husqvarna (India) Products, Seedworks International, 121XP, Lemon Nepal, RW Promotions and ZtoA Marketing.

The Silver, Bronze and Merit Certificates were awarded to PepsiCo India, Infinity Advertising Services, Muthoot Microfin, Tata Steel, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Lupin Foundation, Amar Ujala, UrsDigitally, Triveni Media Marketing Services, Evolve Brands and Yadnya Brandscapes among others.

This edition’s jury was chaired by S Sivakumar, Group Head – Agri. & IT Businesses, ITC. The Jury comprised of business leaders, brand custodians, marketers, media and advertising professionals, along with domain experts in rural marketing. The entries were officially tabulated by Ernst & Young (EY).

The event was conducted in an innovative way through puppetry, signifying much on the social distancing need of the new normal.
