
While addressing students at the fourth convocation of GLA University in Mathura, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that science, innovation and research are important tools for the upliftment of rural India.
Gadkari said India’s natural wealth could not be utilised properly due to wrong policies and governance in post-independence period.
"The condition of poor and farmers can can be improved by widening the area of development. Innovation, research and science can play the role of important tools for upliftment of rural areas," the Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways said.
He further said that spirituality and knowledge of science together can pave way for better future of India.
