Focusing on agriculture sector a new agency, Rural Outreach, has recently been launched in New Delhi by professionals from advertising, rural development and agriculture sectors.
“With a mission to redefine the concept of rural promotion and serving the farmers with innovative customer outreach programmes, the agency will primarily focus on customised events and campaigns utilising the networks of Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Agriculture Universities, Farmers Field Schools and corporate rural retailers, with whom it has entered into agreements for collaborative projects,” Siddharth Guatam, CEO, Rural Outreach.
The agency claims that they have lined up close to one hundred agriculture extension professionals, who will dispense knowledge to farmers in the outreach programmes. The agency has also tied up with over 1,000 rural business associates across the country for effective execution of large outreach programmes. The USP of the agency is its strength in agriculture sector and institutional arrangements, which it intends to leverage upon for effective rural promotion programmes, including consumer awareness, sales activation and brand promotion for agri and non-agri clients.
