In the wake of the COVID-19 lockdown period being further extended, New Holland Agriculture has extended the warranty period on its machines by 90 days for equipment whose warranty is still in effect from March 24 to June 30, 2020. As part of its ‘We care for you!’ initiative, the brand seeks to ease the financial burden of its customers. Prior to this, the company had announced an extended warranty period of 30 days. The newly announced warranty scheme of 90 days is expected to benefit the customers across India.
Discussing the scheme, Senthil Kumar, Product Support AG-India, New Holland said, “Normal farming activity has been jeopardised owing to health risks and this has created a deep sense of anguish amongst the agricultural community who at present are staring at a bleak future. In such uncertain times, we have taken it upon ourselves to lend a helping hand to our customers through We Care For You! initiative. The initiatve has the potential to ease the hardships faced by our farmer friends and instill a sense of financial security in them“.
