Connect India (CI), the last mile distribution service provider, after its launch in August 2015 has opened up Last Mile Delivery Centers as a common distribution platform for the entire e-commerce industry and for corporates who need support for last mile delivery.

After establishing its footprints in over 500 pin codes in Punjab with the initial launch, company aims to cover over 250 locations and 3,000 pin codes through 4,000 Connect India Centers (CIC) by November covering major cities like Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata apart from major states in India.

LR Sridhar, Founder and CEO, Connect India, said, “We have rolled out 2,000 CICs and 1,500 pin codes in a matter of just 120 days which is one of the largest and fastest distribution rollout efforts by any company. We plan to double the numbers in the next two months. Our unique model which provides 360 degree solution to e-commerce players will be a game changer in terms of what we have to offer”.

As a long term plan, Connect India will also engage in training their work force, also known as Customer Connect Associates in the Last Mile Distribution and Rural Commerce through its Skill development programs.

Connect India Distribution model will not only bring a revolution in the logistics industry but will also create commerce and livelihood to the large rural population by connecting Rural India to the Urban India and India to the world, through international partnerships.
