CMS Radio starts AIDS awareness

CMS Community Radio,  Lucknow in association with UP State AIDS Control Society, started a radio programme series 'Zara Bach  Ke' at village  community Kullikheda, in the state capital, Lucknow.

 The  aim of the programme is to awakening the people from the hazards of AIDS, reasons of its spreading and how can  it be prevented and  cured with the help  of qualified doctors. Speaking on the programme Dr. Sangeeta Pandey, deputy director of State AIDS Control Society explained the causes of AIDS to the villagers. She  also  suggested the preventions and  remedies thereof. Addressing the villagers, V Kurian, HoD, CMS Community Radio  said that  this  programme will make  the people aware and  alert  against the incurable and  dreading disease. R K SINGH,  programme coordinator said  that  the event has  been organised especially for  community radio  listeners.
