Central Institute of Horticulture (CIH), Nagaland participated in the 2nd International Agri Horti Show, held at College of Veterinary, Guwahati, Assam, where the Institute received the Best Regional Exposure-Bio-Resource Award for its varied activities towards upliftment of horticulture.

The Show was organised by Department of Agriculture, Government of Assam in association with Assam Agriculture University and Indian Chamber of Commerce. Radha Mohan Singh, Union Minister of Agriculture formally inaugurated the show.

The five-day long show had seen participation from various National and International organisations/delegates. The show was organised with focus on agriculture and horticulture advancements, promotion of international trade, protected cultivation, fertigation and farming technologies, processed foods and post harvest technologies, agri-finance/insurance, cold storage and other hi-tech technologies.

The institute participated in the show as an associate partner and highlighted various activities being carried out as per the mandates of the Institute.
