Centre provides relief to drought hit areas of Andhra Pradesh

In order to give succor to the drought affected areas of Andhra Pradesh, Union Minister of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Birender Singh has approved release of more than Rs 8 crore for repair of the water supply schemes which were damaged due to Hud-Hud cyclone.

In this connection, a delegation of Parliamentarians of Rayalaseema region had met Union Urban Development Minister, M Venkaiah Naidu and Singh yesterday seeking assistance for four drought hit districts of Rayalaseema region.
