Chennai-based India’s leading deep-tech driven aquaculture technology startup, Aquaconnect has onboarded Murugan Chidhambaram to lead its digital transformation division. He will lead in creating, carrying out, administering, and evaluating the startup’s digital strategy in accordance with organisational principles, commercial priorities, and objectives.

Murugan will be in charge of the engineering team, leading all activities for deep-tech platform creation, development, and capacity building while ensuring the use of the best tech methods to assist aquaculture stakeholders as much as possible. In addition to driving operational efficiency and technological innovation at the business, he will play a crucial role in the creation and implementation of key tech solutions, improving the aquaculture value chain in India through technology. The hiring follows Aquaconnect’s statewide development as it gets ready to hire more people in important positions and expand its engineering staff by the end of 2022.

Murugan has over 17 years of experience as a data systems architect in the telecom sector. He has collaborated with numerous top business people worldwide. He was actively involved in data modernisation, operations, and projects before Aquaconnect with companies like Vodafone and Prodapt. He holds a postgraduate degree in computer applications from the University of Madras.
