Grundfos supports Jal Jeevan Mission in exploring business and partnership opportunities

Jal Jeevan Mission is one the most ambitious programmes of Government of India to provide piped water supply to every rural household by 2024. Grundfos India, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technology, is the Gold sponsor on ‘Jal Jeevan Mission: Emerging Partnership Opportunities’ conference hosted by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) today.

This conference had participation from senior officials from Centre, state governments and Jal Jeevan Mission, experts and industry leaders from water sector, technology and water solution providers. The key objective of this platform is to bring together the stakeholders and their expertise to overcome the challenges in rising demand-supply gap in water, solutions to manage water in smart, efficient and environmentally sustainable manner and bring water to rural households.

According to Grundfos, strong partnerships, smart technology and educated customers are essential to be able to bring water to remote or rural areas.

Addressing the CII conference, Saravanan Panneer Selvam, General Manager, INDO Region, Grundfos said, “Grundfos is committed to the United Nation’s Sustainability Development Goal (SDG) 6 that focuses on water and this aligns with Jal Jeevan Mission.
