Dhanuka Agritech wins ‘Company of the Year’ award

The award has been conferred for Dhanuka’s efforts to promote agriculture sustainability and educate farmers in India on latest and modern techniques


Dhanuka Agritech, India’s leading agrochemicals company, has won the “Company of the Year” award at the 10th FICCI India Chem 2018 held in Mumbai recently. The award has been conferred for Dhanuka’s efforts to promote agriculture sustainability and educate farmers in India on latest and modern techniques. P Raghavendra Rao, Secretary, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India gave the award to Dhanuka Agritech. ‘India Chem’, the largest annual event of the chemicals and petrochemicals industry in India, is jointly organised by Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, GoI and FICCI.
 
Over the past several years, Dhanuka Agritech has conducted numerous seminars, “Krishak Goshtis” and “Krishi Sammelans”, to create awareness amongst the farmers about right usage of agrochemicals and modern farming methods. The seminars were organised in various parts of India, including Bikaner, Raipur, Shahjahanpur, Champaran and Hoshiarpur, among other places.
 
Dhanuka Agritech also showcased several advanced products from its portfolio for the benefit of visitors at the India Chem exhibition and conference.
 
On the winning the award, RG Agarwal, Chairman, Dhanuka Agritech said: “We are extremely happy and honoured to receive this award by FICCI. It is a testimony to the work we have done over the years to better the lot of farmers. Our company has taken multiple initiatives and has always worked upon providing best products with proper guidance of its usage to the farmers. This award will inspire us to continue serving the cause of India’s farmers.”
 
Dhanuka Agritech manufactures a wide range of farm input products to support the farmers in their pursuit for better crop, better farming and a better life. The company has a pan-India presence through its marketing offices in all major states along with four manufacturing unit in India, with a network of more than 7,500 distributors, 1,500 skilled employees selling to approximately 80,000 retailers across India and reaching out to more than 10 million farmers.
