In order to create awareness and interest in the Rural Marketing domain among students and academia, Rural Marketing Association of India (RMAI) is going to confer students of various B-schools with Flame Student Awards 2019 in Hyderabad tomorrow. The 13the edition of the Award will collate the works carried out in rural marketing and recognise the distinctive projects by the students.
According to RMAI, this year the Association has received 250 case studies from 65 B-schools. The top 10 shortlisted students are coming from IIM Sirmaur; Institute of Rural Management, Anand (IRMA); National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM); School of Agribusiness & Management, IIPM Bangalore; IIM Kashipur and IIM Kozhikode.
The competition was judged by a jury panel comprising of Puneet Vidyarthi , Director- Sales Marketing – CNH Industrial; Prof. Atul Mandale , Director, Maadhyam Rural Initiatives; Anirban Chaudhuri, Faculty, Marketing at Great Lakes Institute of Management; Sanjay Kaul, CEO, Impact Communications; Neha Parashar, Head- category development, Pidilite; Farid Ahmed, Head - Marketing –OHT Asia Pacific and Middle East, Africa; Deepak Mitra, Head - Rural Business, Crompton Greaves and Prabhakar Tiwari , CMO, Angel Broking.
In the sidelines of the Awards, RMAI is also going to organise Future Rural Leaders Summit in . The Summit will scrutinise every link in the rural, right from the policymakers to the newly empowered consumers and open with some brilliant ideas to execute rural strategy better. Experts will come together and share their thoughts and fresh ideas on ways to expand the share of the rural pie.
